dten Upgraded to WPMU 2.7.1 and BuddyPress 1.0

Smooth as … and what a joy the automatic plugin search, install and upgrade is too! None of the need to ftp files, all taken care of by the backend. This hassle transition will be a godsend for the ForArgyll site (which is next on the agenda).
As for new functionalities for the user, well, apparently there’s a picture gallery in the offing as well as a status updates, but they’re not here yet. For more details on all of this Andy Peatling’s blog has it all.
